The Electronic Data Center, established in 1996, supports quantitative and spatial research in the social sciences and is one of a limited number of full-service data centers at universities in the United States. At the center, researchers have access to a broad collection of numeric and spatial data from specialized workstations equipped with statistical and mapping software.

The Electronic Data Center is located in the Technology Centers of Robert W. Woodruff Library, Room 217.

Hours of Operation:

The Resources of the Data Center are available:
9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. Monday – Friday
GIS and Electronic Data Consulting Services are available by appointment.


The Electronic Data Center supports quantitative and spatial research at Emory University.
