Geographic Calculator Version 7 available at the EDC

The latest version of the Geographic Calculator is now available for use at the EDC (faculty, staff, and students only). With the calculator you convert individual coordinates, point databases, and map files from one coordinate system, datum, and map projection to another. With version 7 there is an extension for working within ArcGIS. For a full explanation of functionality visit the Blue Marble Geographics website.

Census Atlas of the United States

The U.S. Census Bureau has released the first comprehensive atlas in more than 80 years. The atlas includes data from 1790 to 200 and includes more than 700 full-color maps. The atlas is available as a download or you can order a print copy from the Government Printing Office.
